Based in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois, Sisters & Friends is a vibrant group of professional black women who appreciate the eloquence and power of outstanding fine art. By actively championing African-American art and artists of the African Diaspora, the group empowers a vision of opportunity for artists in a community that embraces diversity and culture. With its collection of more than 40 outstanding pieces of fine art, Sisters & Friends showcases a breadth and depth of diverse talent among African-American artists and artists of the African Diaspora. Through its activities and scholarship funds, the group provides inspiration and support for aspiring young artists to realize their dreams. and contribute their unique vision to the arts.
